Boomers are beginning to dive into social networking.

I have worked as a Technical Analyst in a major corporation for many years and in recent years I became more aware that many people of my age, even many in the Information Technology area, were not exploring the new technologies that were becoming part of our every day lives. We all know how often we either know someone or have read about Boomer parents who do not use the Internet at home very often and may not even have a computer at home, but have to “get one for my son or daughter because they need it for their school work”. It seems that it has indeed taken a while for us Boomers to realize that we NEED to have some grasp of what our children and the next generations are using as part of their daily lives.

This article shows that we may have been slow starting, but Boomers are diving into things like social networking in increasing numbers. The truth is that as we look into it, we realize the benefits that are out there.
